Raised in Carrolton, Missouri, Sara attended undergraduate and law school at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Graduating with her Juris Doctorate in 1996. She joined the law firm of Hendren Andre in 1996, becoming a partner in 2001 and serving as a managing partner for several years before starting her own law firm of Carver & Michael LLC. Sara has two children and is a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church where she is actively involved in the schools’ Home & School Board. She is also actively involved in the transportation needs of her two middle-school children.

Sara served on the executive Council of the Family Law Section of the Missouri Bar and is a past president of the Cole County Bar Association. Additionally she has served on the Board of the Rape & Abuse Crisis Center and currently is a public member of the State Committee of Marital and Family Therapists.

Having over 20 years experience, dedicated solely to the practice of family law, has provided Sara with extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with each different type and all aspects of family law matters. Further, she is often a presenter in specialized areas of family law, presenting to other attorneys in continuing education courses, to include Form 14 Child Support Calculations, grandparents’ rights, juvenile law, and relocation cases.
